Small cargo vans might not be the first vehicle you consider when shopping new, but chances are you've gone for a ride in one already--or will soon. On the minus side, the sunshades are awkward. Not only is the engine weak, but body build quality is poor (made in Mex, if that matters). Great room for seating(which I appreciate since over six feet). The Nissan NV200 was all-new for 2013. I have owned this van for about 13 months & have 25,000 miles on it. Aggravating! If you can afford the Transit Connectwe have two of these vans. Only 1 brand of tires available which the dealer sells of course. I noticed that as I got close to 25,000 miles on the tires, I had to change the tires right away.
That said the 10 gallon tank means you are looking for a gas station at about 250 miles so plan accordingly if you are using it for long trips. Drove from Ala to San Diego. The NV200 is new to the U.S. market, but it's been on sale in 40 other countries for some time. Great gas mileage,very comfortable to drive(even on long trips)and cargo space a plenty. So far the only problem I've had is the head light bulbs burning out, the tires factory tires wearing out quickly (3rd party tires perform better and last longer) and the power door locks needing adjustments for cold wI mainly bought this van for its excellent fuel economy. The 3 doors in the cargo area make access to tools easy and while we do not use any cargo bins the ability to add them is still there if needed. So much space inside, easy to load/unload with low floor, dual sliding doors and fold away back doors! The 2013 has a very short warrentee 3/36k but the 2014- is 6/100k I would ...
