The small size is easy to handle and comfortably seats 4 adults. While driving 60 mph, the accelerator pedal was depressed and the vehicle failed to accelerate. I keep up on my oil changes and everything else is pretty much smooth sailing. But as I said you get what you pay for. Cvt transmission failure no recall option. Still have a payment on car and will be out another $5000.00 Tl the contact owns a 2013 Nissan Sentra. My 2013 Nissan Sentra's transmission failed on 4/11/2019 at 83,975 miles (1 year and 23k miles over the warranty). The failure mileage was approximately 100,000. The contact had to wait several minutes before the vehicle became operable. All Nisssn transmissions are flawed. 5 year 60,000 mile warranty expired March 2018. The vehicle is old. I managed to get the car to move again, but I slowly drove on backroads to get the car to the Nissan in our town.
The front seats also lean back. The trunk likes to get stuck in the winter. Continuous transmission revs up and down and jerks the car forward and backward. Transmission failure.
While accelerating from a red light, the accelerator pedal was depressed and traveled to the floorboard. 2014 Nissan Sentra SV Transmission got replaced 8 months ago and they are telling me the new one needs replaced again. And another $270 for a loaner car while dealership had my car. They will also only warranty Nissan transmissions for 1 yr. That tells you how much confidence both Nissan and the automotive industry have toward these inferior transmissions. Please investigate these transmissions. Car jutters ,speed failure, cant change gears ,sudden stop during operation. I brought it to a transmission expert 5 days later who took pictures as proof that it was failing. There are several cup holders for all the passengers. It is pretty roomy. I haven't felt it is under performing.
After 30 minute drive on freeway came to a stop at a turn off. They're affordable and very good on gas. I've done all recommended cvt trasmission fluid exchanges but transmission failed.
It is easy to keep clean and maintaining it with my lifestyle is a breeze. The 2014 Sentra was the worst model year, with the “Avoid Like the Plague ” badge being given to this model due to a transmission jerking and revving, the transmission failing, and the failure happening at earlier than 100,000 miles and being very costly to fix.
The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and informed the contact that they could only assist with 60% of the repair cost. While driving approximately 50 mph on the highway, the vehicle lurched and overheated. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The next day is when it broke down. The car is compact. Prior to this incident, the car was making a small kind of clicking/shuddering sound when I would accelerate. I highly recommend a Nissan sentra. The only problems I have encountered is the window on the passenger seat.
Buys beware of the nissian cvt transmission. the transmission has failed. Nissan has had lots of issues. Sentra. Simplifying the No matter how hard I pressed on the gas it would not go. I would never buy another Nissan. Car needed transmission replaced. The approximate failure mileage was 78,000.
